[Rei frowns on top of.... water somewhere. His view is bouncing up and down, mildly vertigo-inducing, and he just sighs.]

While I often have no problem with the sudden influx of visitors, I really do not appreciate the spontaneous addition of teleportation. I'm off the coast of... somewhere, atop a.. squid-type pokemon. Could anyone tell me if the water near this coat is deep? I could swim back.

[And with that, he shows the water over to the shore; there's the Lighthouse at Olivine. He's not too far from the shore, but it would probably be better to go by boat.]

Or perhaps I could convince this pokemon to take me back? Do you think he would be willing?

[What is that up in the sky? It's a bird, it's a plane! No, it's a penguin.

And penguins can't fly, so Nagisa sure is plummeting down toward Rei at a very fast speed.]

[Nagisa lands very hard and painfully on top of Rei, but at least he's alive! Maybe. Not sure about Rei.]

[Okay so he thinks he broke something. He grimaces and his glasses hang off his nose.]

N-Nagisa... kun! Are you okay?

[Meanwhile, aside from some very ruffled hair, Nagisa is doing just fine. He had a very comfortable cushion after all. --oh wait, that's Rei.]

Uwah--! R-Rei-chan, I'm sorry!! [He hurriedly tries to clamber off of him, though for some reason, there's the hint of something like a smile on his face.] I'm okay! Are you okay? That was a really good catch!

[Rei just grumbles and reaches a hand over to fix his glasses, but pauses once his new company comes into view.]

Nagisa-kun?! What are you doing here?!

I'm not really sure. [Nagisa laughs a little sheepishly, but then gives Rei a wide smile.

Maybe I came back for you, Rei-chan!

[And with that said, he lunges forward and gives Rei a big hug.]

[O-oh gosh. But even with such a silly little comment, Rei hugs him back... and there is a sniffle. A loud, big wet one.

...And maybe those are small drops of water splashing onto Nagisa's shoulder. No real way to tell. They're totally not tears though.]

Rei-chan don't... d-don't cry, 'cause... then I'm gonna c-cry...

[All said too late, because as Nagisa's arms tighten around him, his eyes are already welling up with tears until one streams down his cheek. And then another, and another, and it doesn't seem like it'll stop.]

R-Rei-chan, Rei-chan, 'm sorry I left, 'm sorryyy...

[These two are a hot mess. The moment Rei hears Nagisa crying, he shakes his head, but it's too late for them both.]

I'm... I'm not...

[He just hugs him tighter.] It wasn't our fault, Nagisa-kun! Don't cry!

But I wanted to spend lots of time with you, and find lots of cool Pokemon, and go on cool adventures together, a-and... [Nagisa sniffles and lifts his head. His eyes are red and there's a line of snot on his upper lip. He looks completely miserable.] I wanted t'do all of that, without worrying about school, and you'd never leave and I'd never be alone and I could always be with Rei-chan!

Nagisa-kun, you're not going to stop crying if you make me cry more!

[He just buries his face in the crook of Nagisa's neck, shaking his head.]

It'll... it'll be okay! Even though we're going to... still worry about school, we'll still have fun adventures when you're back, or when I come home, a-and we can still find good pokemon, a-and lots of things! It's okay!

[Rei doesn't exactly succeed at getting Nagisa to stop crying, but hearing how determined he is to share the same sort of experiences with him does make him feel a bit better. He'd rather not let go of him just yet though.]

You're sure, Rei-chan? You wanna do... all those things with me too?

[Rei nods, even though he doesn't move his face. Too busy being an emotional sap.]
