There are a lot, and I could show you a few if you want to... But you're going to run into many different species once you head out of the town. Yeah, forests here tend to be like that. Umm, you're kind of really far away from it even if it does look like it's near from the map. But, the next route will have some too, so you can at least start from there?

Ohh right, and if you take the ferry, there's a forest too and it takes less time to get to that forest than the one in Johto. But then again, there are more species in Ilex Forest right there in Johto, I'm pretty sure.
