Ah... [There's an indignant sniffle. Rei is not pleased.] So I've been here exactly seventy-one days, and never have I come across a circusmtance related to my experiences from this past weekend. For those who have been here for years, is it a relative occurrence to run across so many new visitors, or, well...

Attempted kidnappings by balloon-shaped pokemon? I've been trying to study them since I awoke on the outskirts of town but I've yet to actually come across their name just yet. [He grimaces. He's still a little sore about that one.

But a second later, he takes a deep breath. He's all serious business today.] I also... wanted to know. Is it common for a friend to return home during these circumstances if they were here before the weekend? A friend's sister, Gou Matsuoka? Red hair, normally kept in a ponytail, very vibrant personality... I think she may have gone home, but under the circumstances of the weekend, I'm not certain.

[He frowns heavily.] Given that Makoto-senpai's connection to the gear disappeared along with him, I think it's safe to say he did not get kidnapped. Gou-san, on the other hand... [He looks down.] Let's meet at the inn; we can investigate more in person.

Balloons! Of all the things... [He sighs.] I hadn't even expected them to be pokemon, either.

[When Rei arrives to where Nagisa is, he'll see him basically covered in Pokemon. Or somewhat. His Vivillon is resting on his head, while his Scyther is standing very close next to him, cleaning its scythe-like hands, and Nagisa is also clutching his Dedenne tight to his chest. It looks like he's preparing for war or something.]

[Rei skids to a stop as he reaches a swarm of pokemon, or rather... a friend plagued by them. What in the world...? Rei just takes care to catch his breath while cautiously approaching.]

Ah... Nagisa-kun? What's going on?

I'm getting ready to fight off the balloons!

[Thankfully Nagisa's Scyther is familiar enough with Rei that it has no intention of attacking him, but she's still watching him warily. What if he's an undercover spy? He's purple, just like Drifloons...!!

However, Vivillon is far more accommodating of company as she flies on over to flutter around Rei for a bit.]

Chuchu can shoot electricity if they come too close, and then Demon Slayer can cut them down, and Rei-chan the Second can blow them away since she flies!

[Rei just sighs, shaking his head.]

I think it's okay, they all seem to be--oh... [He turns his head, momentarily surprised by the Vivillon's color's. After a second, he continues.] As I was saying, I believe they've all gone from here. I haven't seen any since I awoke.

Are you sure? [It's a very cautious sort of question, and Nagisa does look rather worried, as if he sincerely believes Rei could be picked up right off the ground before his eyes and taken away.]

I can give you one of my Pokemon in case of an emergency. How about Rei-chan the Second? She likes you a lot, Rei-chan!

[Proving this fact, Vivillon decides it wants to try landing right on top of Rei's hair. They are like kindred spirits after all.]

... I haven't heard from her and I've been calling all day. The phone isn't connecting at all anymore.

And when I finally woke up proper and stuff was back t'normal, I was miles away from where I started and I don't remember even thinkin' about comin' here.
